Madison’s exterior reflects the sense of looking into yourself that the interior evokes. It’s about wellbeing and protection. The larger of the two roof terraces has multiple zones, designed to build a sense of experience. The internal lounge in the lift lobby has zones to work or relax, which lead out to the sky lounge, with views over the new Olympic Steps. The rooftop’s lawn area, meanwhile, has Wembley Stadium right in front of it, emphasising Madison’s deep connection with health and fitness.
The roof terrace’s spaces suit everything from individual yoga routines to popup rooftop cinema events. Arched walkways provide the space for residents to stroll surrounded by nature, with plants growing up the arches from either side and across the top. These tunnels of greenery support residents’ inner wellbeing, delivering a sense of safety and enclosure in the heart of the Wembley Park action. They are the perfect place for centring yourself.
Children have their own dedicated roof terrace zone as well, with a play area next to one of the green, arched tunnels, backed by a spectacular view of London.
Madison also has a smaller roof terrace with a very simple design, focused around open space, greenery and seating.
The development’s podium garden provides another lovely area for residents to connect with nature and centre themselves. Enclosed areas, divided by plants and greenery, provide places for residents to sit and relax. There’s a pet lawn that looks out to the stadium and a children’s play area with timber play equipment – it’s all very natural and plastic-free. There’s a BBQ space with seating, with zones that allow residents to be as private or as together as they wish with others using the space. And there’s a lovely circular lawn area, providing a feeling of togetherness that is at once individual and also inclusive. It’s a place that gives residents space to breathe. To reflect and internalise. To focus on their wellbeing within the protection of the Madison community.
