Eastheath House

A conversion of a Grade II listed house, Eastheath House gave us the opportunity to mix traditional styles with a raw, earthy, nature focus. The client was inspired by Balinese architecture, so we echoed this through a range of touches. The main bedroom suite, for example, has an open plan bathroom where you can sit and relax by the fireplace, chatting with the person in the bath or sharing the double shower. We brought greenery into the shower to connect the experience with the views out over Hampstead Heath, frosting the glass at half height so that those showering can still enjoy seeing the heath while doing so.

The client was also inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, so we created feature stained glass for the stairs area, to bring this into the home. We then mixed vintage furniture with modern pieces to create a luxurious but down to earth feel, using natural materials and textures to bring the rawness of nature within the home, as well as packing its stunning garden with shrubs and trees.
